Hello. Ever since I can remember, music, especially in song form, has been a huge part of my being. My parents were very musical and fostered in me an appreciation for good music. I began studying classical piano at age ten and also participated in choir, band, and theatre through High School. But it wasn't until my third year of college that I realized voice should be my primary instrument. I continued with formal piano instruction while pursuing Bachelor's

and Master's degrees in Vocal Performance.

 

In God's perfect timing He opened the door for me to begin singing for my church. Through His provision of a dear friend's encouragement, I became the Offertory soloist - a charge I have cherished beyond what mere words could even begin to express.

 

Since 1990, I have had the humble privilege of singing some of the most glorious music at the church I have attended since childhood. Much of this music I might never have discovered were it not for my pastor's wife and a few church friends who generously passed along sheet music they had inherited from their mothers and grandmothers. I am forever grateful for this special blessing. 

 

Much of my Offertory repertoire is over a century old - and timeless!
